I chose these two evidences because I think that they tell what's about my personal character, what interests me, and how I defend it in front of people.

There are lots of evidences which make increase my level of English, but I chose this oral presentation because it's what I feel! It's just what interests me, and also the presentation it's a real evidence about how I defend myself in English (I didn't prepared for a long time... I think that I have been working on it 20 minutes...).

Then, the writing evidence is just what I think about life, how I can face up the aims that I put, and also it's just a bit of reflection which helped me to increase my own level of love to the world...

I think it's one of the few posts that I didn't talked about the society's problems, the government corruption and the values lost on humanity... for this, I think it's nice to choose this one! ;D

I'm proud of the work that I got in this year... Thanks to all of us to read my posts!

My English progress from 2008-2010

First of all, the maturity of the text has improved. I'm sure of that because the ideas become more structured and all the points are concise. For example, in the first composition I said: “I always thought about my future and dreamt about it, but I never was right. I don’t have clear ideas about my dreams, then I’ll tell you sure that I won’t say anything that I’m sure.”

There we can remark that the ideas are mixed, that there is no clear expression or just a point which I could say assure... (of course the topic was also a bit confused)

Then, in the last composition I want to remark the structure that I followed: 4 paragraphs and an idea for each paragraph. Also, we can see that the idea is concise and clear: “I am a student from London who has been alarmed with all the problems related with the nuclear power station in Japan because I have som friends on Tokyo (near the crash).”

The first composition that I did was in help of the dictionary WordReference, the last composition was with no help! There are lots of words which I learned and I started to use in fluency and variety. Then I have to accept that there is a big work back of the posts, and the work day by day is just the key to get all this knowledge!

And all what I can say about the differences between my first and my last oral presentation is that in the first, I didn't work hard! (or only I worked in the visual part...) because the text was really poor... but there was a point of humour, and it was difficult to face up! It's a type of oral presentation which I never worked on...

I'm sure that it liked to the class, but it didn't improved our language... The structure is OK... But I have to recognize that the fluency wasn't really worked.

In the last composition I had to explain a topic that I was really familiar, and I knew about it from the first to the last piece of the Research project... For this I used lots of words that I had in mind for working on the programme Blender, and the fluency was all right... I think that it went better than what I expected!

In a personal opinion, I say that it's really good this work day by day, and also the facilities to give freedom to the student working in English on the topics that he choose! It's really appreciative! ;D

World Nuclear Association

Dear Mr Ritch,

I am a student from London who has been alarmed with all the problems related with the nuclear power station in Japan because I have som friends on Tokyo (near the crash).

Mye viewpoint about the nuclear power is pessimistic. I think we have to extinct this way to extract energy playing with nature. I would like to apply for the post of change it for an individual production of sun's energy.

I am writing in response to criticise the way they acted in the Japan's disaster. In my opinion, they had to act before, to get a better security rules and to take it seriously. They had to take it like their son was there! They h ad to know what was the essential for all these families and act in the best way...

Now we have to get it seriously, put serious rules which could think in any possibility and use it for a devate to extinct this power extracts.

Life, human life...

How beautiful is the tree, keeping time to the wind's rythm... How nice is the sky, showing its waves of clouds...

LIFE IS strange, beautiful... unpredictable, disappointing... hopeless, frenzied... spirited, long...

Life are appearences, mistakes, truth, fights, moments, places, thougths, victories...

Life changes... adolescent's life is more than just a life... are lifes. And now, we know everybody, we think in change ALL, in eat the world, in become bigger than other have been...

What's the world changing for it? Nothing... Just a matter of thoughts...

We need to think that we'll be an excellent person... but there is no need to get it!

Only we can put ourself aims.

But how strange is having to decide our future. We had to fight hard to get all what we have nowadays, and sure most of us will have to fight more and more to get the high aims that we fixed.

It's a strange moment in our life, because all the adults tell us, the youth, that we are in the prime of life! Hah! How nice is to know that from the 25's on in it will become worst... But we don't become exasperated! ;D

It isn't time to regret! It's time to success! And we know that we are on difficult days to feel well... but that's life!

I thought in Be or not to Be, I thought in become somebody, or in change anybody... I felt, and I had to raise again... 

LIFE IS good, life is bad, life is work, life is sad...

Now we know that the group that ever have been united, will separate... It's a pitty, or it's strange... It's more than a moment, it's more than a place...

My reflection doesn't try to get sorrow. It's time to know that there is  beam from sun, between the branches of the big tree that we feed day after day...

Just to support my generation to get forces, to become strong, because we'll have to fight hard!

Nobody assure a future work, nobody assure a comfortable life, nobody assure oure beam of light... BUT, if we don't see these beams, who will see it?

Just time to WAKE UP...

WHAT I think about my future...

In last months, teachers became to reflect their thinks about our future... About what we will have to face up and about the problems of this country.

I also want to make a reflection.

In Spain, the last year the number of unemployed persons have increased up.

The morality have been extinct in politics.

The world started a big revolution of oil war and news only only hide the real problems.

Society brings more stress to a person who has more hard the way to find work.

IT'S THE MOMENT, people! It's just the moment to say a thing:

- Respect us, the students. Just for the effort that we are doing seeing all this bad conditions and puting up with all of this. I just ask for a right! I want to study in a University with equality for the Professional formation studies and in equality from the boys that decided to start work in the 16.

I want a future, and for this I'm fighing now!

Why the government decided to increase up the taxes of University with their credits? Why I will have a bad quality of teachers?

Like the people shouted in the demonstrations in front of the University of Girona: "Where is the money of the real state company boom?!"

The world is changing, for worst...

It's a pitty because now we are just in a critic point which could change the population's mind... Now, regret the power we gave to the politicians and face up the problem...

What's about my project?!

A few months ago I talked about an escort group that we wanted to start in Castelló, do you remember?

I want to tell you how my viewpoint has changed!

We didn't know what were we doing in a firt moment, we were lost in the middle of a new lifestyle. We haven't been in a scourt group yet, and we didn't know the spirit of this fact!

What it means? That now we are going to be better persons. That now we'll know some values which will help us to face up the life, and that if we fall in the temptation of being scared by what we have to face, we will have to leave it appart!

The children want to know how to face also this life! We will be educators and we'll have to give the ways to act for these children! We'll see their face grow up, we'll see their mature way, and we'll see how our values gave to them will become a reality!

That's more than just a hobby! WE WILL BE important persons for their life, they will remember our advices, and we can change a bit more this society!

We have chosen the name of this group! It's named XOTS! (a little owl with yellow eyes and brown feather really cute! :D )

It's a little revolution in a big way to act!

Professions which are dying...

A.:  Hi Mr. Willson. A few days ago we talked at school about professions which are dying out and I thought of you!. Can you explain me what the good old days of a shepherd were like, please?

Mr.: Yeah, of course! But first I want to tell you that you are an arrogant boy!. What do you mean with sheppering is dying out?!

A.: Aaah...

Mr.: Yeah, don't worry. In fact, you aren't wrong. The work is going worst from day to day. Afterwards, the industry is taking up all our benefits and nowadays we can't compete with these big factories!

A.: Yeah, but you are working on it yet. Why is that?

Mr.: Young boy... You don't know what life teaches you. When a person is old and all his life had been working on a job, he can't change it! Fate is written...

A.: Ahm... yeah...

Mr.: But don't think about it. I'm happy about my decision. Now I can feel the small facts on life whih make it more beautiful!

A.: Thanks for this reflection!

There's no place for the artist in this society!

Like you could realize it, I'm a painter, and if I you allow me to say that: I'm an artist. It's a noble adjective and I don't usually use it to describe myself... But why I say that? What's the point to stand out?

The artist always have been a person with a different mind of the population, with a strange way to watch the world which permits him/her to transmit the ideas which appear in his mind in a strange way but which usually helps to develop the culture of the country.
We are now in a big crisis, and it's not a crisis of economic values, it's a crisis of MORAL values!
The people make themselves comfortables, fall in the vacuum without thinking what's the best for themselves and take it easy: the flock says what to do...

There is no need to relate the art with the revolution of the human values, of the essence to be someone else ('cause I think that there is more than one person who wants to be one more of the flock) and become to feel real human feelings!

Art, for me, needs to be a way to feel, to act, to think, to meet troubles and to solve them, to comfort, to help, to open wounds and to close again... in general it's a way to EXPRESS!

With the crisis of nowadays the people don't think with this spirit, the people fall in the temptation to leave the thoughts appart and to watch the art like another way to make beautiful our places... in music it's just a way to keep busy the population... and THAT's what I'm against.

When you make a concert, you express yourself, you make to think other people what are you talking about! When you do a picture you are transmiting feelings, thoughts, solutions for a big trouble...
That's not necessary for a lazy government, they don't want people against them, they need stupid people following the flock and no more! The capitalism makes the rest...

From man to man, finishing my writing: We need to promote Culture to fight against the government!

Personality! What's the problem?

The world is made up of good people and bad people, relaxed people and stressed people, rich people and poor people, pride people and honest people... The world is being made with so much types of thoughts, with so much different reasons that we can't only use a way to act!

There is a problematic thought in the mind of the population: "we can't agree with all the population..."

And there's a big problem! We were made about hundreds of years of experience and correlations about us and the other species and we have been forced to agree with the others 'cause we live in the same world!

If we can't agree with a person about a topic, I'm sure that we'll agree with another person, but we can't say that we have a mind against others!
What's the viewpoint to defend with all these things I'm telling you? 

WE NEED TO BE DIFFERENT, BUT WE HAVE TO AGREE WITH SOCIETY TO LIVE TOGETHER.

Why we need to be different? It's just a matter of Natural Selection: where there is diversity of thinks, there is guarantee of development and it assure the life of human species.

Why we need to be agree between us? Obviousness: just think in wars and tell me what happens? You have the answer.

Do you know WHICH is our % consumtion?

Last day, watching HOME on class, we found out information about how is being degenerated our world, how it develop, and how many problems we will have to solve before it will be too late.

For my opinion, I recommend this documentary for everybody! It's a hard piece of details each being carefully explained and searched for the more precise definition. It's a masterpiece of the world's facts and natural problems.

Apart from this elevation of this documentary, I have to recognize that there is a big point which really hit my viewpoint of the future, and it's the way how we are wasting the natural resources...
20% of the world's population consumes 80% of its resources!!

What it means?

We are a population increasing and we have problems with the consumtion of resources, NOW! Did you think how will we face up the same problem in ten years after? The poles will be totally melted in 25 years, and we'll be even living. It's not just a problem for the next generations if you don't have enough moral values to respect the next humans and accept that we are bringing problems.

In the next ten years, if we don't stop the consumtion of water, we'll have a big problem. We won't have our essential element from the nature. And why is it caused? Because ALL of us are wasting water in an innocent way just using a consumition mind.

For the people who isn't convinced with all these facts that I told: if you don't stop the stupid consumition of water, you will have to pay the water in the gold's price. It'll be more expensive water than oil!

And if you know that's obvious applicated on the water's resource, just apply for the rest of resources we are using daily with no thinks. We have a big problem, world! WILL WE SOLVE IT?

Why to get angry?!

At 7.35 of this morning, watching news I saw that Clooney was called as witness in Berlusconi sex trial and then he said that only met Berlusconi one day and they didn't met before. Berlusconi also chose more famous people (Cristiano Ronaldo, etc.) to be witness of his sex trial!

What are you telling me, ignorant fools?!!

Berlusconi laughed a lot, of course! But why are we allowing all these facts? Berlusconi is a protected person by the judges and the law positions... He is scoffing of the law, and nobody is telling anything. He is playing with the corruption, with the ilegal prostitution, and we, the population can't say anything...
It's incredible that a big country like Italy is bringing so far all these facts. 

Another point that Italy has to recognize: their problem with the Pope's power. Pope covered up some pederastian delicts, and the judges couldn't judged this case because the church is over the God's power and we can't raise against the god's decision... Hey people, I think that we are in a modern society and we can understand what's wrong and what's right. 

Then, we have some problems with law...

The Greek culture discussed years and years ago the big decision: family or law?

The big descision which nowadays isn't solved. Example: when a policeman catch a distant relative and then he recognize him, he has to release or he has to use laws?

That's a big problem of nowadays...

What I conclude? That politicians of nowadays don't have sense of shame, nothing morality and ethical values either...

Make war to get peace…

The World decided to show how intelligent is, and now, I think that we can realize the consequences of the facts…

In the last ten years, there started some wars in a big scale. When the population started to realize it, the Media intervened. However, the population didn’t realize it, and Media started a new project: pull the strings and show what’s “better” for population.

Media always have had an important value in the mind of people, and also the government has always had a good relationship with them. When a problem has to be stifled, don’t worry, the Media are there to help the government.

Why do I tell you all of these facts? Because we have been told lies for a long time…

Furthermore, there is a naivety to welcome the Media, which causes the silliness of the society and the ignorance which have been acting in favour of Media. WE DON’T REALIZE how important is to have a bit cultural knowledge about how to interpret the news and the facts which are said by them.

There are lots of reasons not to trust what they are saying, and the majority of population doesn’t take care of these details. Also there is the way to tell all the facts. For example, there is a bit difference to tell: “An American specialized group of the armed forces intervened in a raid on an underdeveloped country where a group of restless people wanted reveal against the government” or tell: “A group of soldiers attacked either of innocent people to stifle a break out of a little revolution”

In all the ways, there is a power of the Media to stifle our opinion and change the facts and the mind of population and we can’t change it. Take care when you watch news and take into account what I told you…

Furthermore, the way to act of the government have been telling to population that they do war to get peace… What's the point that I want to show you? The government has some rules, the same ways to guide the mind of population and to control what we have to think. In another post I will comment about pills, and governamental medicines... just another way to control the mood of the people.
Yeah, I know it could appear a bit paranoid... But trust me that I'm just guided by facts and relations of ideas.

The last point to know: all of us uses soft words which can dim the reality, and all the world have been using this way of speak for years before us... and if the word is the best way to communicate between us, we are doing circles to express ourself, just getting complicate the expression.

If our ancestors could have present all this facts, I'm sure that they'd start a revolution against the system...
Now? We know it and unaware all the dangers which await us...

What’s happening on the World?

A few years ago there appeared a global crisis; a few months ago the Arabic countries started a revolution against their leaders; and just a few days ago a nuclear power station from Japan became crashed.

It’s all right, don’t worry. But what is it trying to explain? Which symbolic price will we have to pay for all these facts?

We are in the 21^st century, and we know that the development of the country is running free.

The 1^st World War opened a big investigation to all the new technologies, and we paid for it. Then, the radio was the first invention which revolutionized consuming habits. All the families moved into a new economic system. The 2^nd World War broke out and that brought a big devastation, we paid for it too. In the 50’s, the families saw the appearance of the TV in their houses and the world started a globalization. After this, the first spaceship was sent to the moon, and it started a new revolution: the globalization.

We have been a species which stands out of the others animals for our adaptation. And we have to recognize it entails that we have to respond like the humans we are. We are described for our behaviour: first think, and then act.

Why are we playing with the environment using nuclear power stations, bringing to the extreme the consume system and destroying all which involves us?

Why are we denying a healthy life for our future generations?

Now it’s time to pay for change all the facts we consumed with a big recklessness and there is a proof, the present devastations…

It’s just my opinion… Think about it and if you are ready to make this change, you know. Just start a revolution…

After a few years I discovered that I have a problem on the studies, and it's that I always left the work until last. Then I have low marks, and I don't know why I have all of these hateful grading, just thinking on the effort that I made to do all what I studied, futhermore after trying to go on to play music and painting...

After a few thoughts I could know that this fact isn't only unsuitable on my age, because I remembered the last year on March, when snowed on my town and it appeared unbelievable and all the folks where excited because we were in the middle of an exams' week and the power went off, after this we could realize how the electricity power station's company was taking a bath of gold with our money, and that they didn't do anything to improve their service...

But I couldn't realize when I linked my last idea with what is happening on Japan that could be brought in the extreme... Japan is a country with a very civilized society, with an economy importance which can shake the global economy just in a few seconds.

Japan is in a big crisis because of the tsunami which devastated a big part of the country, but I want to remember why I could link my idea with this fact. I thought how they felt in this big problem when I knew that a nuclear power station became crash, and that Tokyo was in a big trouble. It seems that the nuclear power station was in the same conditions like Chernobyl. That it wasn't trained to put up with a tsunami, but I think: 

When we are talking about human safety, we have to leave it for the last?

The nuclear power station was 50 years old and it wasn't renovated with any aspect...

A place that I remember fondly...

Last summer I went to cantabria with my parents on holidays, and one night I thought about done anything different. We were staying in a bungalow near the sea, and I decided to jump out by the window and stroll on the hills near the sea. 

There were attractive cliffs and the sky was the most peaceful sky that I have ever seen and the spirit of the grass moving like the wind relaxed my soul. The smooth moon light allowed me to see how beautiful the landscape was.

Watching the biggest sea of the world, the Atlantic Sea, I started to reflect about my life with the most calm situation that I ever lived, it was perfect...

After this, I met a pub near the beach with an old appearance where I drank a Judas beer to celebrate a change in my life...

Become a person...

In the last few months, I become a member of a escort from Figueres, the A.E. Xiprers al Vent. I started it with no idea what was it! The girl who made of instructor in the last summer in Poland (we went to Poland with a group of boys and girls from Castelló d'Empúries) said us to go there and form to instructors. It was strange and different, and I accepted it. When we went there, we didn't expected anything like it!

It was incredible, in the middle of Figueres there was a house with a big pitch and lot of children playing like in their house. We spoke with the "Caps" named the important instructors of the house. They organized all the activities and the plays. They told us that it was like a family, that we could learn a lot and they asked to all of us (the castelló's people) why we went there, what took attantion to go there: "We don't know" (we said...).

In the last month I discovered lot of things that children can learn and what helps myself. It's an strange feeling, but I think it will be incredible and really good for my education. For this, I thought to make a post now, in 6th of March and explain what I think, and what I want from this place. After this, in the last term I will share another post which will explain the evolution of the situation.

The last month we made an excursion to Olot, in the middle of the mountain in a shelter. We didn't deal with boys before this, and we were really lost. But when the day becomes night, and all the children started to get close with us, we started to feel it! It was the power of the "CAU" (the escourt group name of all the catalan escourts)!

The name CAU begun for the distribution of the ages of children. when they are from 5 to 8 years old, they are named "Beavers and Otters" and if they are from 8 to 12 years old, they are named "Wolves and Fallow Deers" (in catalan they have a nicer name for the pronunciation). For this, when they go to the "CAU" (it means Burrow in english) and they feel like on their burrow.

In this place we promote the creativity, work in group, imagination, make friends and the most important in general: become a person...

For all these things, I hope that when we will be prepared to open a CAU in Castelló, all the village will start a change and become a bit happier! Just trying to change the society...

The case JULIEN ASSANGE...

What to tell you my friends which you don't know?

Julien Assange is a journalist, programmer and an activist of internet. He became famous when he decided to be the publisher and the spokesman of the site WikiLeaks. 

I think that you know lots of things about him, what he had done, and all the things which are on the TV News. But behind all these things which all the medias give you are only decays of information and comunication. If the government decides to censure or to explain only what they want, just they need a call! It's just one of the things which our appreciate government express their love to us, the people. 

Julien Assange had enough guts to share to all the world WHAT the governors of all the planet were doing with the money of their population. He is an admirable person which all the civilian would have to admire, and follow the same way! But then, there are the TV news, all watched by most of population, and nobody thinks what are the meaning of these news: the government won another battle.

Please, realize what are the news: Julien Assange made that all the important governments "were caught with their pants down", and after this, he was charged to be a rapist and he is now in deal with going to prision. 

LAW FAILS...

We aren't enough qualified to live in a world with all these characteristics (corruption, mind control, false news, deviation of human rights, etc.) and it could be one of the last purposes of this life, adapt to this society. In conclusion, I think

What's the "Calçotada" in Catalonia?

Here, in Catalonia we have a tradition from the southern land. It consists in eat (so strange, from catalans ;P). 

That's a festivity which consists in meet a big group of people (like the village, or the group of friends...) and cook calçots (a variety of green onion) in a bonfire. It can be made in a field, to be more traditional, but all people make it in public places or restaurants, and also our family are going to do one on the terrace. 

There is a typical sauce of Calçot, made with garlics, almonds, hazelnuts, tomatoes, oil, red pepper and toast bread... It's an explosive combination which is delicious!

I assure you that it's a good experience if you never eat it, and remember that it becames a tradition, which says that it has to be delicious!

I waited for this since last year, because the calçots are a variety which can be gather only in february-march, now I'm going to help to my parents to make the fire, because today I won't leave the table after five o'clock!

But remember, if you eat it, don't eat so much, because you won't sleep! They are onions, and the smell isn't pleasant, then be carefull if you want to kiss somebody!

Description of a friend

The current illness...

The last days I could check that society has a big problem, and it's an illness a bit strange that never before had taken so much importance. To locate what I'm saying I have to tell evidences like humans developed the brain just on the frontal part (which permits us to reflect and think easily) and that had bad and good consequences.

This illness is named depression, and nowadays all of us suffer this problem. We don't give it importance, and it has. We are all weeks stressed, living for money and trying to get happiness... It isn't so much difficult to know that we suffer depression, all the facts speak by themselves.

We would know that in future, depression will be the most deadly illness which could affect on humans, because all the factors indicate that it will be worst, and the facts will become more negative that never had been.

We live in a stressed society, and this way to live forces ourselves to get more that we need. To explain easily, we could be happy with an apple, but we want a fruit salad just to be like the others. We don't know how to avoid all these problems caused by the capitalism, and that frustrates us.

Tricks to change our way to live? Nobody knows it. Just yourself can find out an answer to get you happiness, and that is life. Learn how to be happy with minimum problems.

Could anyone tell you how to do it? Don't listen him, he will tell you just things which can't help you or which can help himself. It's Life's laws.

I know that humanity had reached really high thanks to the comunication and the interaction, and I have to admit that no all the advices which arrive outwardly are useless, but I want to reassert that all the good steps we make on life to get happiness are arrived inwardly.

The stage of "Revolutions"...

Few months ago, Egypt started a revolution which attracted the attention of all the medias of the world. If we remember, we have fallen in a crisis which started two years ago and that was the USA's fault. We know that USA has the power to change the world, but we don't hope that they will do it.

It's said that USA controls all the political movements and I think that we could think a bit more about it. USA has a huge military bases arround the world. Why they couldn't be controlling these revolutions to get the power of these countries or just trying to appear in the mind of the next politicians of these countries?

I just reflected about situations which can appear random facts and they could be just the opposite. We know that the american dream is start in a bellboy job and finish being a businessman (NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!), and I ask now: isn't it the same slogan which the revolutionaries are using?

Just a few minutes ago I saw the tv transmission of the Libian leader Gadafi announcing that he won't leave his power and his position. And that all the revolutionaries will be shot if they go on the streets because they were paid for starting this revolution. They got money from other countries to start this revolution and do a change on the politics of the country.

It made me think that I wasn't really wrong. Other governors wanted these revolutions and it didn't arouse suspicion at the moment, but when we could observe that lots of revolutions started to grow up like mushrooms, it smelled really bad...

What's about mistakes?

I used a lot the connections like "aaaa, aaaaaand..." and I think that makes a bored speech. It's one of my worst mistakes. In other hand, the visual part was very well-made because I saw all the faces watching attentive the screen and also mine. But I used some words that I didn't think so much, like "The flying camera", I don't understand why I used this word because in catalan is like in english "The bird's eye view...

Also the sound was so much loud!! I didn't take care of it... 

There are som mistakes which can decrease the mark...

A bomb exploded  in front of an Egyptian Church on the first day of the New Year, killing 21 people and wounding about 80. On the city of Alexandria.

It seems to indicate that Al Qaeda are involved in this attack, and it had become in the wake of repeated threats by Iraqi's militants from the terrorist band.

Again, religion can make open fire between  people and we don't think that can be one of the most terrible military confrontation. Religion always brought conflicts and we always ignored what could happen if it was brought to the extremly point like the fanaticism.  For example? In the same place, Alexandria, where in 4th century had been a confrontation between the Christians and the rest of the religions (greek religion, pagans, etc.). It had been one of the most terrible bleeding blood of times...

What could do the governments about this problem? NOTHING... (I think)
They don't have enough tools to solve it with pacific means and the rest of the population only think about how they had been offended by the other half. There are no reasons to bring an ideology to a fact... and there's The Proof. We are only humans, and we don have the necessary inteligence to discriminate against a belief because WE ARE JUST AN ANIMAL OF HABITS...

If the population don't change their mind, I think there would'nt be more times of peace and the evolution of humanity will become extinct...
